Tashi Bharucha was born and raised in France and has had a fascination for knives since as far as he can remember. His father was partly responsible for it and would bring him pocket knives from business trips in the US. As a teenager Tashi would collect production knives from various US brands and as he grew into adulthood, so did his knife collection. He discovered the custom knife world and that struck a chord. With a career as a graphic designer and being a Creative Director in advertising, he had the tools and skills so it was only natural to start designing knives on his free time. That led to him to collaborate with a few knife makers, as a designer, around 2007 but a couple of years later, the few became many. His new approach, flowing lines and distinctive design language attracted a lot of attention and by 2011 he had worked on over 30 projects with the biggest names in the industry. That's around the time he got the itch to take his art a step further and actually become a knife maker. He is very passionate and dedicated to the craft and is now regarded as major player in his category with exceptional blade grinds, fit, finish and of course... unmistakable lines.
